Another selection from my trays of early milled copper..
A variety unrecorded by Peck and rated extremely rare by Dr. Nicholson.
The overstrike is bold and clear and the coin is in a higher grade than the example owned by Nicholson.

Wow, that is nice! I have Colin Cooke's website book marked, probably the best source for unlisted varieties.

Yes the 'collections' page at Colin Cooke is a must. I used to buy from Mr. Cooke regularly throughout the 1980s and 90s. He was always helpful and tremendously knowledgeable.
Also worth bookmarking as a varieties reference resource is Joe Lee's site. Ropey text but interesting photos.
