Possible 2013 P Maryland Quarter Discovery Doubled Die Reverse / DDR

MS70Error5 Valued Member United States 434 Posts	Posted 09/26/2016 3:07 pm I believe God has Blessed me with a nice noticeable DDR on this coin. Extra thickness is clearly visible on the fireworks, windows, and archway. The coin looks very similar to 2013-P 25C MD WDDR-007. The dot inside the C in AMERICA may be there, but I am not positive as the coin took a hit there. Here is the link to the similar variety. http://doubleddie.com/1192040.html However, I think my variety may be a new one because there is a third streak in the firework just left of the top of the flagpole. And with that third streak being under the ball on top of the flag pole I would say our variety is different than WDDR-007. Thank you and Congratulations as well CoinCents. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/27/2016 7:29 pm The marker the die dot is on the 'C' on AMERICA. The windows look correct. Not sure about the line to the east on the arch. The fireworks look different. Try retaking the images of the fireworks. Note the light direction on each image and try to copy the same rotation on each image. That will help you to see the spread better. Mote on the image of the flag pole on both images.
