Is there a capsule made that can hold this coin? I'm thinking not, but figured I'd ask.

as somewhat of a newbie myself, I have to say that your post would get much more interest and replies if people could see what you were talking about.

Should not be a problem, but It may be necessary to turn it over to NGC or other grading service where it can be encapsulated in the typical hard plastic holder. I have several 5 ounce round coins that are preserved in this way, so if you are willing to spend a few dollars, there is a holder for it. hmmmm... I don't know, but maybe there are a few larger "empty" coin holders on ebay?

btw, that is a very nice coin, funny about coins, they will outlast us by hundreds to thousands of years...
