This is a very cool cracked up quarter.

Washington Spiked Head

Eagle Spike Head (though I can't determine if it goes all the way to the rim)

Die crack at the bottom of the bust & another crack going through the O in Dollar

I've been lucky and have found some coins with unusual die cracks. First time I have this speared/spiked Eagles Head. The Quarter spike heads are not common - there is only one listed on COC which is the one I found a couple of months ago that JC listed.

Thanks for looking you all.

The first image is a die crack to the edge of the die. The die drack will not show over the rim, as it ends with the circular edge of the die. So it shouldn't go over the rim.

I've listed these as SKH-25c-1996-01 & 02.

http://cuds-on-coins.com/washington...s-1932-1999/

There are a number of Washington quarters with a Die Crack that runs from the rim to the base of the neck. If the Die Crack fails to enter the neck it is not a considered a Spike Head.

Wow, JC I didn't know that - I guess I am going to have some more listings for you.

Thanks for putting up the listings - I didn't know I would get 2 for 1.
