Mintage Question Regarding The Charlton

TheForce Pillar of the Community United States 4870 Posts	Posted 09/27/2016 07:10 am I have a coin mintage question in regards to the Charlton Guide to Canadian Coins. In the coin listings, it shows the various coin types like for the business strikes, PL, Specimen, Proof, etc. Now the mintage number shown, is that across all the formats of the said coin for that year? thedollarman Pillar of the Community Canada 4911 Posts	Posted 09/27/2016 08:46 am it may or may not be, in all honesty I would expect them to do something like the RedBook does, where they list the mintage of proofs and other strikes in brackets but than again we do not know the mintages of many early specimens. Post'71 specimens are plentiful and relatively inexpensive. 1970 and earlier specimens (excepting 1967) are hard to find and very costly.
