im not a true collector. I have a almost full penny book from 1909-2013. Mostly I collect silver coins , half dollars, quarters, dimes. mostly just junk silver. i have rotating craigs list postings saying ill buy coins and I mention what years and types. yesterday I lady called me said she had some coins and wanted to sale them. so she sent me pictures and we made a deal for $750 i know I got a heck of a deal 35 Morgan dollars (mostly O and blank mintmarks) one S mint 3 Peace dollars (all 3 blank mint) 12 silver eagles 3 90% silver halfs 1 40% silver half 31 1979 s Susan B Anthony dollar coins only 4 of the Morgan dollars have extensive ware. the rest look to be in very good condition and I would say 10 look to be in extremely good condition. should I get them graded or not is my true question. I know grading can increase the value and chances of sale of coins. I dont plan on selling the coins any time soon but is it worth it. none of the coins are rare dates or beyond average coins... except the condition of them. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

How about reverse pictures please. So we know if the 1897 is a Philly or New Orleans etc.

You should edit your post with the obverse pictures to add the images of the reverse so you/we can match up the images per coin

No I personally wouldn't get any graded. There are no rarer dates and all tend to fall in the VF to a Low AU range. Save your money. Keep them as they are.

Ditto. A nice group for the price but none appear to deserve the cost of TBG.

Alternatively, if you are set on grading ANACS has a deal going on for $140 for 15 coins including shipping

You got a great deal on that lot, but not worth grading any of them.

As a rule of thumb, I feel if a coin is worth less than about $200 it isn't worth having graded as you are unlikely to get a premium for having them graded larger than the actual cost of the grading itself. The only exception might be for specific ones known to have a very high number of counterfeits (like Trade dollars). I don't think any of your coins would fall into that category. That's not to detract from your great deal though!
