Just wondering if this is the re-engraved variety. I see doubling on the word 'cents'. Also wondering about the grade. Thanks.

It is the Newfoundland one cent that has the re-engraved date not the ten cent and your coin looks VF

There is a 1940 ten cent with a re-engraved DATE, not lettering. That doesn't look like re-engraving ... it looks like repunched.

It is ONE of at least three or four varieties of "Doubled Die Reverse" of the NFLD 10c 1940.

Yours has a smaller offset on the date than one or two of the others.

I think it's Machine Doubling though
