Should I sell it now or wait to sell it? And what's its real value?

There are going to be several millions of these circulating and people will grab the low serial # crisp bills as they find them. # 1,177,115 isn't especially low.

I would stick it away and keep it for 20 years... but then that's because I collect banknotes and its usually good to get them for face value as they are released.

I don't really care about the serial numbers on my notes but the first run of the first issue (as denoted by AA) is always more desirable than some random serial from later on... so while your note isn't going to be the crown jewels it will become more valuable than other prefixes in time - assuming that it is in good condition.

If you can get 300 quid for something that's worth 5 quid, do it now, as in 2 months time no one is going to spend 300 quid on it, unless someone is even more insane than the person who spent 300 quid on it now.

I would also try and sell it now before it turns into the 20p no date, they were selling for silly money initially and are now worth around £40 in UNC
