As a general rule never clean a coin. Should you clean that coin? Why not,make it a practise coin.

Your circulated Lincoln Cent is very common . Cleaned or not it will only be worth One Cent .
Because you even asked this question; I would not think about cleaning any coins EVER !

It is still worth one cent either way. But you should never get into the habit of cleaning coins.
