What do you think about this dime? I don't know if it is a Cud, die crack or lamination error on the obverse where In God We Trust should be. But it is positioned on the exact opposite side of a depression with the ax head missing on the reverse side.

Die crack and Cud area should be raised. Not incused!

Lamination still have the impression of the original strike showing underneath, although it all depends on the severity of the lamination. There are signs to check.

Check out many of the error coins online and compare what real error and damage or mutilated coins.
