I'm giving away two very poor condition Indian Head cents, dated 1899 and 1896. They are heavily corroded, green, ugly, rim issues, etc. The 1899 has decent details- 3 diamonds and partial to full liberty. Maybe you could clean up this coin.

All you have to do is be the first to respond with the correct (in my opinion) answer to the following question:

What is the date of the last Morgan silver dollar that bears a "CC" mintmark?

Good luck to all.

Don't have my book with me, so I'm actually guessing - 1890?

Thanks Mycrob,

The coins made it to me yesterday.

I was wondering if these found metal detecting? Send me a Pm if there is a story around them, where the were found etc? I enjoy imagining the history around my coins.

Thanks again
