Sorry, what am I looking at, if I know what to look at perhaps I can help you Come to a consensus on this coin. I dont see anything out of the normal from first glance, unless you are talking about the rounded rims, which canadian varieities has on ebay as well, maybe he knows more about this than others.

I don't get that one either, both of these coins imply a collar die smaller in diameter than the dies, the strike would be IMO impossible. So both I'm saying are PMD IMO.

Further to my point, Both lack or are very close to lacking denticles.

If the collar is too small for the dies, the dies can't strike the coin and would clash into the collar die, which would likely break the collar, leaving evidence on the edges.

The leaves are right up against the rim where there should be a spacing and then the denticles like you see in the 2nd coin posted here. Sorry for not specifying, thought it would jump out a everyone.

Like Alan said, it looks like a Dryer Coin. Got caught in the dryer and the edge got knocked around until it became flatter. Or spooned by someone who was bored (or hammered, etc.)

IMO it's PMD, interestingly enough, Dryers didn't exist when those were in use

Spooning... glad this is a written conversation, if I said Spooning out loud, my girlfriend's ears would perk up. ;)
