Assuming it is genuine (a big assumption), this coin has F+ detail with obverse damage and is possibly cleaned as well. These are a big risk to buy raw and you must have a reputable seller and a return privilege. I would be reluctant to pay over $400 for it and would consider looking for as certified problem-free piece in the same grade by paying $600 or so.

I think it's OK (Die #3) and agree with BH's comments. Not a very attractive coin.

I can't make out the die chip in the upper loop of the S. The MM is a little off with the top sherif. Appears to have an old cleaning on the obverse but the rev looks OK....maybe the light is cutting the patina.

VF details based on the pictures

VF-20 details, cleaned. Can't judge for sure from these photos if it is genuine but no big red flags jump out at this point.

Dot after the D is a little too close for genuine I think. Should be closer to midway between D & B yes?

Look like a counterfeit.
VDB looks off. The dot between D and B is not located exactly in the middle and the central crossbar of the letter B is not sharply tilted.

Looks fine to me, maybe send it in to ANACS just to be safe?
