Often I get pretty good deals by following TPG coins from non collector seller profiles. I kinda figure low bidding activity and have landed some super deals doing this. My max bid was $440, so I was really shocked with this one. |

i don't really want to rain on your parade but I think that this is where the coin lost those higher bids..IMO it was collectors of quality dropping out to those who buy the slab and not the coin..sorry.  Feel free to call me Will.

True, but it's still an easy flip for a nice profit. Not sure what your photo shows, just a few rub marks, unless I missed something.

Another thing, blemishes and rub marks tend to bother me less in MS, the real challenges are PL's & DPL's.

It is a beautiful coin and a safe price for sure. My sense is that the toning is hiding some problems.  |

Another thing I'll put out there is FMV rise for plus, star & cac designations. One must realize, there is no negative to FMV. In fact, when it comes to TPG's, I'll favor laboratory analysis any day over pictures or ones subjective opinion. Especially, when its backed up with a guarantee! |
