I cannot find Red Book values for Lincoln wheat cents graded MS-66-RD. Am I missing something?

I have checked both the print book - I have the deluxe, 'Mega Red' version; and the online price guide (I have a paid subscription, although I doubt I'm going to keep it as I do not find it worth the money.)

Whitman does not have anything on their (mediocre) website about the issue, at least I could not find anything searching the site and poking around in the (very limited) Help section.

TIA,

Mark

Maybe checking http://numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtml ? These prices are quite close to Red Book values. Maybe averaging these values with those on PCGS would give you a pretty good idea.

Try to remember the Red Book is basically for everyone. For Whitman to put the values of every coin in every grade, the book would have to be about 5 foot thick. Note they do not have grades like MS-62 either for lots of coins. Also, no listing for grades below G-4. Just not enough pages to list every grade possible of every coin.

The PCGS coin values phone app is what I use when I want an idea of a coin at a specific grade that the RedBook may not have, or for when I'm not at home (like at a LCS or show). Of course the prices run on the high side but so does the RedBook. I love the convenience of just tapping and scrolling on my phone to find the value of any coin within 30 seconds or so.

While I have not checked in a long time, Numismedia pricing used to be VERY close to CDN.

It has been posted before ....

If time permits ...check several sources.

I will look at
Numismedian.com
PCGS price guide
NGC price guide
ebay sold listings
ha.com

Depends on the coin
