Hey, I was on ebay and I picked up this crown for about 44 quid * usd/gbp 131969574787

As an American coin collector, I do not know much at all about British coinage in specific. However, this crown looked fun so I bought it. However, looking in any world coin catalogue, I cannot find this coin. Also, the last two digits of the date are worn, but the seller is able to date it based on the edge inscription. Can someone give me an identification of this one? And how much is the grade and price typically?

*EDIT* The 7 is actually visible.

A very nice Charles II crown for the price you paid! This link will provide more information on the coin and its value:-

Looking in my 2014 Spink catalogue, it is catalogued under S.3357. It is of the year 1667. There are two varieties the edge lettering. Both date the coin to 1667.
AN · REG · DECIMO · NONO · TVTAMEN ·
AN. · REG. · DECIMO · NONO · TVTAMEN ·

Yours is the second variety with the two dots. There is no difference in price. In Fine condition the catalogue puts them both at £210. Though your coin is much less than fine condition and shows some signs of corrosion. I am not too sure of an accurate valuation of your coin. Better wait for the experts.
