My first thought was that it looks like an 1898-S. Grade-wise I'd say G-6.

Hmmm...I'm not a Morgan collector, but there's something about that 3 in the date.
Out of curiosity, I pulled the dates from three slabbed 1893-S Morgans on Heritage:

1893-S-Morgan

I don't know how many "3" punches were used for 1893 but the upper curve of the 3 seems to curve to the midpoint at a different angle than your coin. I think my first concern is a modified 1898-S...dunno

Yes...it doesn't take too good an eye to see it's fake. I told the estate dealer it was a fake. Got it, and two Peace dollars for $30.
