I buy and sell lots of things, most of which is precious metals. I have a variety of tools to help narrow down counterfeit coins, gold silver old or bullion.
My problem is I have a few Perth Mint bars. CertiCard cases. There are no letters in the serials, they are all 1ozt.
I have read that there is a tamper proof seal on the back that is detectible with a uv lamp. Is this true with all the perth certicard cases? I just would like to know if I can use a lamp as a reputable method to detect well made fakes?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking time to read and possibly educate a simple man.
