Hello everyone. I am new to the forum and I have a few silver Washington quarters that I suspect of being errors. I'll try my best at formatting using my phone.

First is a 1957 where the 7 looks like the letter Z

Second is that the D mint mark on a 1963 is much lower than others and very close to the letter R

Lastly, this may be just damage but possibly a cracked die? It's on both sides

If I need better pics or anything, I will try my best to provide them. Nice to meet you all.

The last one is easy, Post Mint Damage ( PMD), looks like someone took a pair of wire cutters to it.

Die crack would be raised and the first one looks like displaced metal from PMD and to the forum

The hit on the rim of the 1957 likely caused the displaced metal.

The 1952 was cut.

Both are still 90% silver and worth more than face value.

I believe so as they were applied by hand at that time.

They were hand punched so they can be anywhere. It is in mint tolerance, so it is fine, if it was in the devices it would be a different story, coop has a great ed file for this

Probably, but none of us knew that "common knowledge" at one time either, and we all learned it from asking those same questions too. No one is born with that "common knowledge".
