I've been posting on the site for several weeks now, getting to know the different topics, ect. My interest in learning more about coins began recently when I pulled out the ones I got from my grandfather's estate back in the 90's. They'd been haphazardly stashed in the bottom of a small gift bag, a mass of confusion.

The coins are roughly from between 1920-1965, different denominations, some in better shape than others.

The ease of looking up info about coins on the internet, especially with an ipad makes the hobby so accessible. Having a forum to glean answers from other coin enthusiasts is a nice bonus. I am currently organizing my inherited coins into more suitable storage and then plan to buy a few of my own.

Iam and yes, the forum members here are great.

Glad you found us!
I would have loved to have a resource like this one way back when I started collecting.

to CCF. Sounds to me like you may have a lot of silver coins. So even if some are in bad shape their still silver.
