When Evacuation Was In Place, Looters Moved In On Beaufort County
http://www.thestate.com/news/state/...9124287.html

Very sad for residents to come home after Hurricane Matthew and find their homes ransacked by looters. According to the article one of the losses was $40,000 in gold bars stolen.

One of my motels is less than 20 miles from Beaufort County. They were out of power longer than my area. It is one of the more affluent areas in the Low Country of South Carolina. I am not surprised by this story.
