Added another one to my WWII set.

Let me know what you think.
This one has a little toning in a few spots.
Looks nicer in hand than the photo.
The Rev is great has a small hit on one of the feathers and a black spot near it too.
I think the D might be double?
Is that possible in this year and mint?

I'll try to get a closer pic.

Let me know what you think.
Thanks
Dan

Whole lotta' tonin' going on... MS65 coin though ;) Does look like an RPM D/D to the north, not sure if there is a FS number for such a variety or not.

Not sure what is going on in the obverse right field. Is that glue or tape? Also appears to be an issue with the obverse rim at 1 O'Clock. The coin looks MS but may get a "details" grade.
Rest in Peace

After taking a long hard look at this Walker I have to call it AU-58 . Some area's of coin are nicely struck while others are weak .

1 O'clock is just an optical effect. The toning looks kind of weird, but may be just the lighting. It is weakly struck, like many other walkers of the era, but assuming no damage or artificial toning, this could easily merit a 65.

However, on the right field, we can see something that looks like a coffee stain. If so, the coin may still come back as details for being "stained"

not a fan of the way this coin is toning. it could be from improper storage at some point in its life. it may affect its value a little. looks like a weak strike but I do think its MS. MS64+ due to eye appeal

1:00 rim thing is indeed an optical effect from the glare of the 2x2 mylar.
My desk lamp is right above it.
The coffee stain in the right field is just that, it' looks like coffee.
The rest of the toning is actually a cool red/orange that I could not capture on camera, but the toning looks really nice under 10x.

Yeah, the coffee thing is not part of the toning.
It looks like a whole separate thing.
If I drop this in Acetone will it affect the toning?

Thanks

Still not sure I understand what that pennant-shaped thing in the right obverse field is.
