Hello, I just made an account on this forum and I need help identifying a coin. I was told it is a crusader coin but I have no idea. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

First, welcome to CCF!

Second, yes I believe that you are correct that it is a coin from the time of the crusades. This looks to be a denier of the Italian City of Lucca. It was made between 1035 and 1125 AD or so. I'm going to recommend to the mods that your post get moved over to the correct section of CCF.

Well, it did take me almost 8 minutes to reply.

Seriously though, these deniers from Lucca have a very distinctive design: the letter H on the rev side (standing for Henry the III, IV, or V) and then, typically, a very degraded L V C A on the obv. Mine looks pretty much like yours.
