In the new year, I will not pounce on RCM coins unless it is something I reallly want; otherwise, I will wait for the sales at the end of the year. |

Whether it's thousands or only hundreds spent on coins I always feel like a chump when prices plummet. Only a few are laughing while the rest of us are grinding our teeth. |

You might be right, Jimper. But current "dive" set larger distance to climb up. Quote:

My RCM rep says another 2 weeks for the Renewed Library to ship. Hope they're right. It's getting ridiculous. They didn't say reason for delay. |

I totally agree with you about constantly feeling chumped.
It's a crappy feeling. I've returned my legacy of the penny set, which I loved, because I'm convinced I'll be able to get it cheaper in 6 months at the expense of a fellow collector.

I don't blame you for returning the Penny Set. I've also considered cancelling, but am still 50/50 (haven't received it from the mint yet).
I think it's stunning and have been waiting patiently, even though that nagging feeling tells me that months from now I could be playing the chump again.
I'd like to follow my instinct, but it's hazy right now.

I got my coin yesterday. I guess they are shipping again!
This coin is a keeper but I wish I had the opportunity to buy last years dollar from the mint.
This will probably be the one and only coin from the series I will get, I doubt I will reach platinum level again.

The coin is available at The Coin Shoppe. Priced CAD 314. Reasonable price, taking in account, that they probably got the coins on the sec market, even could be from Talisman (this only assumption though). The "new" stock, The Coin Shoppe got from the secondary market source - would it be dealer, or private customers. The same way they did with Voyageur, just the Voyageur SD was "hot", unlike the Library SD which is "popular" |
