I just called for mine and was told that the coin would be released from production on the 16th of January with a 2-4 week delivery. As I was typing I received a call from customer service for other issues and was told that they don't have an exact date but they should have them from production and ready for shipping in 3 weeks or so. So whether you believe one estimate or the other they seem to point to the same general time of about 3 weeks. Dave (Platinum regular).

@Dave: Quote: I just called for mine and was told that the coin would be released.... If it just delay (as seems to be), you will get your coin...this is RCM. We just forgot their previous delays. Take a at below, was posted on June 25-th, 2012: Sounds very familiar, and still applicable to RCM orders: " Just called RCM and they told me:
1. The Two loons might be delayed beyond July 13 :-(
2. The "Glow in the dark Dino" is on back-ordered (again) and she doesn't know when it will ship out. She said something about the quality isn't up to Mint's standard.
3. The $20 Silver Maple leaf crystal drop should be shipped out within 4 weeks from today.
4. As for the Fab 15 box, she said they don't know when the box will be shipped out because they *received* the wrong size box so they're shipping out coin #4, #5, #6, etc... (kinda makes me thing that they are doing it on purpose) "

I didn't call myself as I was going by the posts here and that it would arrive, and then again it would arrive, and so on. Finally, I received mine last Friday. So they are slowly getting out.

I really do love this series. Can't wait to see what 2017's edition will be. Once again Canadian coins, you've posted outstanding pictures of your coins. Thank you for that.

Canadian_coins, I think you have single-handedly raised the value of the 1976 coins. Everybody will be on the look-out for one to complement the new one. A beautiful companion piece.

The photographic skills of Canadian_coins amazing. (i remember some seller on ebay, "Debbie", I think, they had absolutelly overpriced listings, but very professionally pictured). Anyway, for years I forcing myself to buy at least some edition of 1976 SD and can't do this....do not like architecture on the coins

Congrats for the coming coin, Omxfl If you want it for personal collection, don't worry, it will be in your hands for much longer period, than awaiting time. Quote: Ordered Oct26, 2016, shipped Jan27, 2017: that's one way to lose customers... This is not a great way of doing business. But this will not prevent you or anyone else to wait for the 3-rd coin and buy it from RCM.

Just received shipping notice for my final Library coin (ordered 2) not sure if I'm going to keep both though. I was able to go through the coins my grandfather gave me and found a proof 1976 library silver dollar and a voyageur (not sure of the year). Should look sweet displayed together...I don't typically display my coins....staring to think spend so much on a hobby why hide them!
