I came across a coin today that looks different from any other coin I have ever seen. I am curious if this is a mint error coin and if so, the potential value. Has anyone seen anything like this? Thank you!!

to CCF. It is not an error. It was damaged by someone intentionally. As to value,I don't think it has any not even face value unless you hide it in a roll of quarters

Altered after strike making it PSD. The bank should take it at face value and remove it from circulation to be recycled. Thanks, Doug.
