Quite worn for sure, 1983 P looks to have the FG missing. If I recall these are more common than others.

The others are 1966, 1973, 1982, and 1972-D. They are all the result of an Over-Polished Die error. The 1972-D is the rarest.

I can still see the 'F' on the 1977. They get removed with the die is over polished several times to remove clashes. When the field is reduced in height, then the shallow devices start to disappear. This is not the case of something not added to the die. The initials are part of the design. It more of a case of something removed from the die.
