I recently purchased this Commodus denarius, but I could not find the RIC number... Obverse: M COMM ANT AVG P BRIT FEL Reverse: P M TR P VIIII IMP VII COS IIII P P (exe: ROM) - like RIC 98a
COMMODUS. 177-192 AD. AR Denarius. Rome mint. Struck 184 AD. COMM ANT AVG P BRIT, laureate head right / P M TR P VIIII IMP VII COS IIII P P, ROM in exergue, Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory in right hand, cornucopia in left. RIC III 98a; BMCRE 149; RSC 660.
Found reference to both the obverse (O24) and reverse (R163) .. With a bust 07...But can't seem to line them up together...and no ref numbers at all.. RIC or SEAR....
