Where these medals ever made without the top loop for mounting the ribbon? This one does not seem to have one. I suppose somebody in the past may of filed it off, and due to its age and wear any sign of the modification has worn off. Any comments will be appreciated.

P.S. For full discloser, I probably will eventually list this on ebay, also, sorry about the dust and lint on the medal.

Hello! I am actually a Militaria collector and I do have a few medals. This one does appear to have the loop taken off, and it has been used as a pocket piece it looks like (probably the vet carried it in his pocket). It's still a nice peice, I would personally list it on ebay for $5 BIN with $2 shipping through USPS but that's just me.

Thank You ChildOfTheWheat (great name). I appreciate your timely reply. I'll take your advice (that is after I take better photos without the dust and lint). To maintain top rated status on ebay, I need to ship everything with tracking, so shipping will cost me at least $2.60.

Thanks Again and have a great week.
