I have a hard time grading these. Any opinions? This one is in an NGC slab. Note the blob that passes for an "S" mintmark. Well-struck mint marks seem to be the exception rather than the rule on these coins.

Hmmm...the feathers on Eagle's breast breast look good with just a slight trace of wear on the top of the left wing. A small amount of wear on the bottom of the headress. I'll take a stab and say AU52.

I just sent off an 1909-D with the same amount of ware I will post it when its returns. I hope mine is AU-50-55 and yours looks the same as mine AU-50-55!

EF45 - AU50...the coin has a lot of circulation/handling dings.

NGC called this one AU-55. For the record I see little wear on this coin but there are a fair number of circulation marks; the grade seems fair to me. I wouldn't mind upgrading it to one with a sharper mintmark, though!
