AGC was the first company to slab coins back in 1984.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

It is also against ebay policy to sell them without the grades blacked as they
are not an ebay approved grading company.

"Numeric grade can't be included in title, description or item specifics.
Image in graded holder must be completely obscured and unreadable."

Apparently the first year or so was graded quite nicely.
