I know these are horrible seller pics, but I see what might be a seam line on the pic with the rim or it could just be a cut. The reverse appears damaged like this was a pin at some point. Do you think it is genuine?

Fabric looks off, but what do I know? I have been wrong with my gut on ancient Greeks before.

Also, is that an edge seam I see in the second picture?

This coin looks WAY thin for a Greek coin.

Is Ptolemy the correct person? The seller says it is Alexander and that is totally wrong.

Can you take some pictures that are not on an angle? I believe your coin is Demetrios II Nikator from the Tyre mint. Similar in style to the Tyre Shekel. I think it's genuine but need those better pictures. Here is a picture of one of mine.

It's not one of the Ptolemy's.
