From what I can see of the legend it appears to be Constans, with the reverse of FEL TEMP REPARATIO. This reverse type was struck from 348 on. The Sirmium in Turkey.

Actually Constans didn't issue this type at Sirmium but his brother did.

I knew it had to be one or the other, I couldn't remember if Constans did or not and the legend looked to short for his brother. Should have went with my first impression.

Any Idea What this coin might be? Though it was a complete slug so I was practicing on it some a dental pick until I started to see some lettering. 18mm,3.6g

I'm afraid I destroyed this coins patina..coin was completely encrusted, need to learn some patience...is there any way to restore the patina?
