After nearly six months of not accepting any new packages for die variety attribution, coppercoins.com has found a new home in Florida and is back open for business.
I post this in here because a number of people have asked on this forum and through email, and I thought it would be good to let everyone interested know in as boradcast a method as possible.
A number of rules exist for how and when to submit packages for attribution, and these can beviewed at my site, most specifically the following page:
http://www.coppercoins.com/attribution.phpOne of the biggest changes from before (for those who have dealt with me in the past) is that I can ONLY send packages on Saturday. I do not have access to a post office during the week. This will slow things somewhat, but I have decided that if people know up-front that there will be up to a week delay in sending packages out for this reason alone, they should uderstand when it takes an extra week to get coins back.
Given this, my current turn-around time from receipt of your package is scheduled at two weeks. This means that it will take me up to two weeks after I receive your package to put it back int he mail to you. Including transit time, this could mean you will be without your coins for up to four weeks.
Please....PLEASE...do not send coins if you cannot be without them for four weeks. I cannot make the process any faster than it is, and do not want to hear from impatient, eager people who think it should take less than four weeks from shipment to receipt. I deal with things here as well and as quickly as I can, and responding to impatient emails from people just slows the process down further.
So...with all that known, one of my rules is to ASK FIRST before sending packages. I expect to see an email BEFORE I see a package. If you want to send something in for my opinion, please send an email to me - the address is easy. cd@coppercoins.com
If you are interested in getting involved in this, I should let you know to get your requests in early. I have a limit on what I will accept at one time, and can only handle ten package requests at once. Once I hit ten, I schedule out into the future. Once that happens, it could be a month or more before I will accept your package from the post office. In other words, I expect that with all the time I have been unavailable, things will back up rather quickly....just so you know.
Thanks.
