Hi guys,

I'd like some help identifying the coin attached.

My grandfather found it in a field many year ago and my father recently found it in his belongings. I'd love to know where it's from, the writing looks Arabic but I have no clue.

Any info would be great!

That's defiantly the one. I have to wonder how it got into a farmers field in the 50's U.K! it'll give my dad something to investigate.

@dude, first welcome to CCF. Second, my best guess is that this is made from brass rather than gold (I know that you said "gold looking" in your description).
