Going to visit family but have never been this far West before. I will have time to putt around later on in the week hoping to see some coin shops.

As far as I know there are no coin shops in Kamloops anymore the closest would be Kelowna 1-2Hrs drive away or Vancouver 3.5 Hrs drive

There is one coin store in Vernon, which is a little nearer than Kelowna. There are also several antique store which also carry some coins.

Where is the coin store in Vernon what's the owners name address or location if you have please I might go check it out myself today I'm less than an hour away.

Aside from Darren in Kelowna, Kosta in the area , nobody . Retail coin shops are nearing Dinosaur status in most places.

papeldog, sorry for late answer. The shop named "Simon's Coins" and the address is 2908 30th Ave, it opens Monday to Friday and Saturday is appointment only. I only visited on Saturday so I can only see the inside through the window.

I went to Simon's coins in Vernon yesterday met the lady that works there she told me they have been there a few years now buy said they don't get a lot of traffic.
She told me the owner is a retired man on disability pension had a nice visit and will go back every once in a while
