nice retained break on DEI, the coin is NSF, sadly not PL though..note the middle leaf on the reverse shield which would need to be fully struck to even consider it being a PL. nice coin, it reminds me of one I have coming that I won on ebay, i`ll post a pic here in a bit.

Ding ding ding! :P that didn't take long at all! And thanks for pointing that out, I tried to determine if it would be PL or not, but wasn't sure if the markers. Sadly, 50C pieces dont have a place in my collection, but I couldng let an interesting die break into the pot! If you would like it, let me know, I believe it would have a nice spot in your collection

i appreciate the offer but I don`t avidly collect halves either...it is a great coin though so may as well tuck it away..perhaps make a binder of stuff that you don`t collect but couldn`t pass up? that would make for something cool to look through and would have lots of variety.


although I don`t really collect them...i like you can`t pass up a cool die crack when I come across one..i`ll let you look for the break on this one.

yeah it`s a pretty big one lol. Robmck1967 has a beautiful pair if 1953s with the same die break, I mean they have the same breaks as eachother, not the same crack as mine has..i`ll try get the thread for you. also, I sent you an email
