Howdy gang,
I just purchased the Dansco Large Cent album (7099) for my Large cent collection. When I got it my Large Cents would not fit snugly in the slots as all my other coins have with the other dansco albums.
Has any one else had the same problem? Or did I purchase a fluk album?
Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks a bunch

Doc

Welcome to the forum!

I do not have a Large Cent album, but I have noticed that my Large Cents are very loose in my 7070 album, which is over ten years old now.

I have read that its because the coins weren't all one size so they used the largest size they could have been to make the holes, what I do is cut strips of a 2x2 flip and wrap it around the coin to make it snug in the album. Just put the coin in the correct hole then take the thin strip of the flip and press it in the gap between the coin and the album hole, you may have to put more than one strip in the gap to make it tight and it takes patience but thats how I do mine in my 7070 album
