Over the years any rolls I intend to save I place in those plastic rolls, seal the tops with tape and just put them in big box. Any box will do if those coins are in a sealed plastic tube. Many have been there since the 40's and 50's.

If you have an Army surplus store near you then get yourself some ammo boxes. They work great! They stack, have a strong handle, and they are water-tight.

Ammo boxes are great. If they've actually had ammunition in them, however, they may tone the coins. Some collectors would consider this AT, but I think ammo box toning is beautiful in it's own right. They are, as bman said, water tight, so they're great for protecting coins.
