Are there any collectors out there that have had problems with milk spots on Australian silver coins?

I like to collect world silver coins with animals on them, and I have seen so many beautiful silver Australian coins. The reason I ask is because I have been burned bad by Canadian silver coins that develop milk spots over time. I also collect American Silver Eagles, and I have never had a problem with milk spots.

I think I might have seen this once or twice and that it is reasonably attributed to incorrect storage of some kind.

I am not into NCLT proof Australian silver, but
I have seen the occasional milk spot on them.

I think the R.A.M. (and perhaps the Perth Mint as well), may have addressed this issue in more recent packaging.

Hard acryllic, fully sealed individual capsules for proof coins offer the best protection.
Openable screw capsules are not as quite secure (as per Royal Mint) offer a loewr standard, simply because the capsules ARE openable.

I seen before 5 pcs of milk spots dragon 1oz bullion still in roll.

I also have seen some toned 1oz bullion mouse, snakes & coloured snakes. I was referring to S2.

I don't think that the bullion coins get the same carful treatment that the numismatic proofs do.
This is probably why the bullion coins are prone to contamination.

I subscribed to this topic because I have had (and might still have) milk spots on old Australian silver coins, especially those of George V.
Why do they occur and what can be done about them ?

The spots weren't there when the coin was graded.

So it looks like they appear later on
