To start.... this dime is very dull compared to other coins. But what really intrigues me is the double leaf on the reverse . At first I thought it was PMD but after looking closer, the curve pattern of the leaf connects with the leaf closer to the stalk. My camera stinks but can y'all see what I'm seeing? Please let me know. Thx

Here is what the normal reverse would like on a 1964 SMS dime:

Are you referring to the incuse marks on left leaf? With them pressed into the coin it might be from reeds from another coin, damage or something else. I'm leaning toward the PSD result. (Post-Strike-Damage)

Yes Coop that's what I'm talking about. I was thinking that to but the infuse Mark's just happened to connect perfectly with the leaf close to the stalk. No biggie though. I'm gonna keep searching. Thx Copp and Dustin6.

This coin has been calling me for some reason so I took some better pictures. I don't know why but to me it looks like a leaf over another leaf. I'm not trying to run it in the ground just wanted to be sure. Thanks for your time.

That is really interesting! Seems like there should be some way to explain.

Looks a bit like a struck through thread/fine wire?

On the Op's coin you can see it even touching the field in one spot leaving an indication of a line.

The squiggly line on the oak leaf is a reeding hit from another coin.
