Had this in another's thread showing what I thought was a Front clad missing but some of the member's think it maybe paint or altered after the mint, I'm still pretty new at this so I'll ask the community as a whole

To me, it appears to be a missing clad. The only thing that concerns me is there seems to be patches of the clad still there, which inclines me to think that it may have been put in acid to take the clad away. Not sure though.

The edge shot shows cladding on the obverse and reverse.

It appears to be, with some remnants of the obverse layer still present (not unheard of).

Along with the weight, a reverse photo will do wonders.

Acetone didn't remove anything other than grime

Based on the reverse photo, I am confident that it is a genuine mint error. However, it is a little heavy for a missing clad layer. It may be some form of rolled without clad layer error, where the thickness of the copper layer is quite large.
