Hi ccnz!

Coin 1 - looks to me like corrosion spots caused by environmental damage. I've quite often found British pennies with similar spots.

Coin 2 - could be a Cud, or is it just some solidified chewing gum or other gunk that has been stuck on the penny for years and gradually taken on the colour of the coin?
