Can anyone send me information on this Coin/Medal ? of Gaddafi its Silver and has 60 grams.

What I don't understand on this specific one is the 7 circles it has and what looks like it was struck during 1999 my friend told me it is also to commemorate the 10th African unity. But I feel it has a lote more to tell us about the number 7

That is basically the OAU emblem with seven rings, made in 1970, seven years after the OAU was founded.
There was a competition for the emblem design.
The prize for winning was $7,000.

I don't know who made the medal, but it was probably made in 2009.

From Wikipedia:
The Sirte Declaration was the resolution adopted by the Organisation of African Unity on 9 September 1999, at the fourth Extraordinary Session of the OAU Assembly of African Heads of State and Government held at Sirte, Libya.

That date 9/9/2009 was also the date that the members of the AU who were convened in Lybia applauded a recently released convicted murderer (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8247006.stm) a very dark day for anyone with relatives who were killed on flight 103. Two hundred and seventy lives were lost when Pan AM flight 103 crashed in Lockerbie, Scotland.

An act of sheer cowardice and brutality.

I would melt the medal.
