Mr. Jefferson went black on this nickel, however the Monticello isn't toned.
Opinions?

I personally find this type of toning quite ugly, though I have never seen it applied quite like this. I'd staple it in a 2x2, but not much more than that. Cool find!

I like nickels because they can be different colors.

From black to gold .. blue .. purple ..

If I like how they look .. I put them away
