I have never bought from J&M before.

I buy most of my coins from George Manz, (like Andre), I find him the best to do business with.

I have bought from Colonial Acres, but their prices seem a little high, and sometimes using their shopping cart system, they don't always have the coins.

Hi Shafta

I bought from Colonial Acres,it's right to say that some of ther price are high, and the processing of order take an eternity to be process and that if they don't loose your order like they did with me,shipping charge are very cheap if you buy more then one coins,i did have an order place there in Dec.2007 and just got it two months ago problem they say they lost my order all these orders wher paid via credit card,so if you order anything from them don't be in a hury to get it.

This is my opinion.

Andre, I just ordered a few NFLD coins from George Manz, based on other's recommendations. He seems like a good guy.

Snaz, yes sometimes I sell coins (but not ebay)--I was referring to the cents I sold here.

George Manz doesn't sell Silver Maple Leafs does he ? I dont see them on his site. I'm also still wanting for that email from J&M LOL!

PS- do you think you folks could try calling J&M and just seing if they Actually pick up the phone? Because I tried calling them and the phone rang for ever. IT would be very crappy if they were just avoiding talking to me about my order info. Although I did assume maybe they are Closed due to Easter? If you guys do choose to call just ask them a question about any coin or something or maybe you Coin bugs will even drop an order LOL!! none the less I'm just wondering if any of you guys would be able to get through to them on the phone here is the number 1-888-244-9999

Thanks in advance guys I'm just thinking that its Closed because of Easter and so forth ,but I kinda expected them to have atleast some message saying that which they didnt so who knows? Oh and speaking of which Happy Easter holiday's and Passover To All of you People

One coin I purchased from J&M was a 1936 dollar. I was pleased to receive an ICCS graded coin although I did not ask for it. My guess is that they do not necessarily have all coins/grades as per their web catalog seems to indicate. When they get an order they try to fill the order the best they can. And maybe they try to buy time, offer something else, etc in an attempt to salvage a sale if they do not have a suitable item immediately.

Andre, thanks for your confirmation of using George Manz. I got the impression that he grades his coins conservatively, which I really appreciate. I'll let people know when my coins arrive.

Yes Archie silver is hard to find and buyers are willing to pay big dollars, I just sold 1 once for $25. This reminds me of 1979-80 ...

Yeah So I hear ,Hey Marc did you sell your coins to local "Hock Shop" for $25 oz or on ebay? I noticed that lots of ebay type places are selling silver at those price's. Which leads me to another question for you Marc and anyone else who can help . Is Amazon a good place to buy silver from? To m they dont look good because I saw that the shipping charges were sky high for one ounce coin [$26 for the coin and $18 for S&H] But as A Canadian trying to get some silver rounds right now everyone seems to say the same thing "they out of stock" I have heared people suggest that some shops are Not willing to sell there silver at the spot price of today and are waiting for it to climb before they sell. If alot of people are doing that Man does it suck for the rest of us LOL! But as you said MArc today is like the bullion markets of 1979-80 people are not only buying these wonderful silver rounds as gifts and collection but because there kinda skeptical on the future of the US dollar and all its pegged currency's including the CDN dollar so in a desprate move there are moving alot of there cash into physical Gold/silver. I have a feeling that were all gonna be on quite the rollar coaster ride in the next 6 months LOL!

Hi Archie,
I sold the silver on ebay over the weekend. For your other question I have never bought anything from Amazon so I can't judge... but $18 S/H is on the high side. I typically charge $2.
