I only started getting into coin collecting and error coin hunting about a month ago. I thought that this coin was a great find, even though I don't know a whole lot about what it is that I really found. From what I understand it is a Canadian 1984 reverse penny with dime front. You can see the copper colour of a penny through the silver colour of a dime. My guess is that the penny must have gone through the dime plating process. It weighs about 2.54 grams and is the same thickness of a penny. I am interested in knowing about how much it is worth if anyone knows. I will post pictures of the coin. I am having trouble trying to get the pictures clear enough to be able to see the coin, I hope it works.
