Hello,

I came across this quarter yesterday and I am not sure whats wrong with it could I get some opinions on it.

The coin it self doesn't weigh as much as a normal quarter , The Diameter of the quarter seems to be off as well , Coin also has a weird sound to it.

to CCF. Looks like environmental damage. Maybe a metal detector find.

It looks like the ones I find metal detecting.

To me it looks like it went through an acid bath at one time. Note the thickness. Weakness on the reeds and rim. Not a plus for the coin.
