I think this grades EF-45.

I believe I'm seeing hairlines indicating an old cleaning.

I'd call this AU-50 and I agree with Bilbo about the possible cleaning. There are some scratches on the lower reverse and an odd semi-circular groove or scratch on the portrait around the ear. There is a bit of dirt below L and I of Liberty which might be all that was left after the cleaning was performed.

Nevertheless these coins are getting more and more expensive and this one looks nice in spite of the problems. Not too many collections include an example!

It looks like EF-40 cleaned not to sure need coin in hand to say its cleaned
