Hi,
I'm new to coin collecting and have
inherited a large amount of Thai coins. I was wondering if anyone had any info/advice regarding assessing the value of a certain coin, and how to go about grading, selling, etc.? The coin is a 1987 Thai 50 satang (half baht) coin as part of a sealed set from the mint in 1987 (Thai year 2530). I have a book that says only 1000 of the 50 satang coins were made in 1987, whereas upwards of 20-40,000,000 were made in other years, and I have 7 out of the 1000 made. Any idea as to value?
I'm just going through the coins now and also found a Thai 1 baht coin in pristine condition dated 1900 (Thai year 2443).
Sorry for the long post and I appreciate any input. Do I start with having them graded? Throuhg PCGS?
